Products
Together with the prototype a set of test data files is available. The test data scenarios (described in the Test Data Description document) include L0 files gathered during the Commissioning Phase as well as L1a, L1b and L1c products which are the output of L1PP after processing the L0 files. For the release of L1PP 3.4.0, a set of new scenarios had to be designed around the real data available.
The format of all the product files handled by the prototype are described in the SMOS L1 Product Format Specification document.
The latest release of the Test Data Package (version 3.4) has also initiated a new versioning standard, to clarify its correspondence with the L1PP version.
Please note that each scenario is provided with its own L1PP configuration file. This is done in order to ensure repeatibility of the test results, as the default configuration file provided with the L1PP Install Kit contains the definitions expected for real operations (i.e. post launch phase).

For completeness the previous release of the Test Data Package (version 10.0) is also included here and it contains L0 files generated by SEPS-GS v2.2.0 and L1a, L1b and L1c products and breakpoints generated by L1PP 3.2.0, L1PP 2.2.0 and L1PP 2.0.0.
